The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is a public technical university. It is the leading technical university in Scandinavia and among the top ones in the world. During the past decades, the Indoor Climate group at DTU Civ. Eng. has completed numerous national and international studies related to energy use and indoor climate in buildings. In the later years, the focus has been on occupant behaviour, and flexible use of energy in buildings.
DTU has over the years contributed to major activities of organizations such as ISO, The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, International Society for Indoor Air Quality and Climate, WHO, World Green Building Council and has collaborated with corporations such as Boeing, Daikin, Mitsubishi, United Technologies, Camfil, Danfoss, Velux, Google, and others.
