The focus of the workshop was on discussing the results from exploratory interviews with SMEs in five European countries and an online survey of SMEs and entrepreneurs on their specific requirements for e-leadership skills. It included best practice examples on e-leadership in SMEs on the successful, strategic and innovative use identified in the interviews and which could be used as case studies or examples in training courses. These activities have been conducted over the past months as the basis and starting point for the development of e-leadership course profiles and courses fully aligned with the requirements of SMEs and entrepreneurs. These will be demonstrated later in 2014 and 2015. Further presentations showed the results from a Europe-wide survey of higher education courses. Some of those identified showing their relevance to e-leadership were presented.
