Client:

DG CNECT, European Commission (EC)

In service contract for DG CNECT, empirica is building a one-stop-shop Digital Skills and Jobs Platform: https://digital-skills-jobs.europa.eu/en. As subcontractor of a consortium led by European Schoolnet, we are in charge of identifying relevant digital competences and employment initiatives in all 27 Member States and beyond. The resulting repository bundles information on skills initiatives in different formats, competences levels and geographic areas in a single access point. Before the platform launch, high quality offerings are plenty, but isolated in geographic and sectoral siloes. empirica’s contribution to the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform consists in a rich database of more than 400 relevant initiatives all across Europe. The platform launched in May 2021, enabling citizens and stakeholders from most diverse target groups to find appropriate skills trainings, find inspiration for own initiatives and connect with other actors. Besides European Schoolnet, the consortium includes Tremend, DIGITALEUROPE, LIKTA, European DIGITAL SME Alliance and Public Libraries 2030.
