Butler Scientifics is an EU-based SME that designs, develops and operates production-grade health-informatics and decision-support systems, combining scalable data engineering, reproducible analytics and productionised optimisation engines. Our product portfolio (operational or near-operational) includes AutoDiscovery (automated exploratory data analysis for biomedical and clinical datasets), AutoModeler (automated, TRIPOD-aware predictive-model building and deployment), BioConverse (agentic/LLM-based conversational assistance for research workflows) and OmixLink (automated enrichment and integration of omics data). We deliver both technology (APIs, containers for inference, reproducible pipelines, FHIR/ontology-aware data models, optimisation/re-optimization engines) and human services (clinical and technical consultancy, integration with clinical systems and biobanks, pilot execution, training/upskilling, and auditable model documentation). Our offering is structured to run GDPR-aware pilots and phased R&D and to hand over production-ready artefacts (instances, APIs, containers and documentation) to partners.

What we are offering

Butler Scientifics offers an end-to-end, GDPR-aware technology and services package for joint tenders in healthcare. We provide four productised platforms — AutoDiscovery (automated exploratory data analysis), AutoModeler (TRIPOD-aware predictive modelling and deployment), BioConverse (agentic/LLM conversational assistance for research workflows) and OmixLink (automated omics enrichment and integration) — together with fielded optimisation / re-optimization engines and production artefacts (APIs, containers, CI/CD pipelines). Our technical offer emphasises FHIR/ontology-aware data models, scalable data-engineering (Parquet/Arrow, Polars), reproducible analytics and containerised deployment for auditability and hand-over; we combine these primitives with clinical-technical teams (clinical leads, data engineers, DevOps, QA and legal/GDPR support) to execute pilots and integrations with EHRs and biobanks. Deliverables include ingestion pipelines, FHIR adapters/profiles, KPI engines, optimisation cores, dashboards, inference containers and full documentation/DMPs. In a joint tender we act as lead technical provider and pilot integrator: we design the solution, deliver prototypes (phase-1/2 artefacts), and run multi-site validation and hand-over (phase-3), producing auditable code, containers, evaluation reports and training packages to ensure reproducible, scalable deployment.

What we are looking for

We seek complementary consortium partners able to provide clinical access, local pilot capacity, domain expertise in sustainability/operations, systems integration and evaluation capability so Butler Scientifics can supply its technology stack (AutoDiscovery, AutoModeler, BioConverse, OmixLink) and lead data-engineering, optimisation and deployment work. Expected partner responsibilities – Host at least one pilot site (facility, local contact, clinician lead); provide access to de-identified or governed clinical and operational datasets and timely approvals. – Provide integration resources (EHR access, test environment, FHIR endpoints or mapping) and 0.2–0.5 FTE local technical contact during integration and pilot phases. – Participate in co-design workshops (phase 1), accept deployment of prototype artefacts (phase 2) and collaborate in evaluation (phase 3). – Contribute to evaluation and dissemination: allow outcome measurement, local data collection and co-authorship of validation reports. – Ensure compliance with local regulation and support Butler’s GDPR-aligned DMP and audit processes. Minimum selection criteria for partners – Proven track record in at least one of the requested areas (clinical operations, system integration, sustainability interventions or evaluation). – Capacity to host pilots in the named regions/languages (Catalonia / Spain, West Wales / UK, Treviso / Italy) or to act as a formal local sub-contractor. – Technical ability to expose or map EHR data (FHIR or equivalent) and provision of secure test instances. – Commitment to provide staff time for co-design, training and evaluation during the PCP phases.
