Footprint Mappa is developing the EU Climate Operating System, a platform that turns sustainability and circularity from a yearly reporting exercise into a repeatable, auditable system. Mappa connects scattered data sources (ERP, invoices, suppliers) to produce certified carbon footprints, both corporate (ISO 14064, Scopes 1, 2 and 3) and per product (ISO 14067), and is the first ever Product Carbon Footprint certified by Applus+ under ISO 14067.
The platform combines an AI assisted footprint engine with more than 950,000 emission factors, Scope 3 connected with real supplier data and reduction scenario simulation linked to costs, with reporting ready for CSRD and national frameworks.
Based in Spain, Mappa serves clients across Europe.
What we are offering
Mappa contributes the measurement, evidence and AI layer that lets Health & Care Organisations prove the impact of circular and sustainable actions, directly addressing suHCO’s need to track circularity and provide evidence for initially simple actions. Specifically, we bring:
(1) an AI assisted engine that quantifies the carbon and resource footprint of products, processes and supply chains under ISO 14067 and ISO 14064, turning simple actions into auditable evidence;
(2) connection of dispersed data sources (ERP, invoices, suppliers) without restructuring the organisation’s existing systems;
(3) Scope 3 connected with real supplier data, critical for healthcare’s complex supply chains with heavy reliance on single use products;
(4) reduction scenario simulation linked to cost, to prioritise interventions; and
(5) reporting ready for CSRD and others standards.
Our credibility is anchored in being the first Applus+ certified Product Carbon Footprint under ISO 14067 and in deployments across multiple sites and countries. In short, Mappa can deliver the “measure, prove and reduce” building block of the suHCO solution.
What we are looking for
We are looking to join a consortium with partners that have deep health & care domain expertise and direct access to HCO settings.
Specifically, we seek healthcare organisations and clinical teams that understand healthcare workflows, safety and quality requirements, procurement and the day to day reality of care provision, so that the sustainability and circularity evidence Mappa produces can be embedded into real operational and clinical processes.
Mappa provides the sustainability data, carbon and circularity measurement and evidence engine; the health & care partners bring the domain knowledge, access to care settings and understanding of staff needs that make the suHCO solution work in practice.
